This paddle has cushions where you grip, and it is very comfortable and well-designed. I had originally purchased a Kwik Tek 3-pc paddle Kwik Tek 3-pc Kayak Paddle but ultimately replaced it with this one, which is far superior. I highly recommend this paddle - you won't be sorry.
